We use energy saving glass called low emissivity glass or "low-e" glass that complies with building regulations, as standard on all our installations. You may have heard of "Pilkington K" or "Saint-Gobain Planitherm" glass which are just two particular makes of low-e glass. This glass has a special neutral coating which reflects heat back into a room in cold weather and stops the house from getting too hot in the summer. The saving in energy is not only good for the environment but cuts down your heating bills!

The surface of the glass we use stays close to room temperature so this reduces the risk of condensation forming.
There is a wide range of different styles and patterns of glass available including very simple style to beveled or stained glass. Please ask to have a look at one of our brochures for more information.
